Woman beaten, robbed after assailants break into home on South 11th

A 32-year-old woman was beaten and robbed at 10:52 p.m. Monday when three persons forced their way into her home in the 200 block of South 11th and took her purse. She was treated at Blessing Hospital.

Police are not disclosing age or description of the assailants. The victim told police she thought the subjects were men.

Police said a "blunt object" was used to hit the woman. She was treated for a laceration to the head and other minor injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
