ST. LOUIS — Kimberly Jo Whisenand, 30, of LaPlata was sentenced Thursday to 30 months in prison and ordered to pay $24,931 in restitution on a federal charge of interstate transportation of stolen property.

The charge was in connection with her June 2008 purchase of a 2008 Ford Mustang from Family Ford in Bloomfield, Iowa, which she then drove to Kirksville. The check was drawn on an account in her name at Alliant Bank, Kirksville, which had been closed in February 2008.
