After honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. John L. Cornwell are at home in Quincy.

Mr. Cornwell and the former Crystal D. Lair, both of Quincy, exchanged wedding vows at 2 p.m. Aug. 22 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

The bride is a daughter of Leslie and Dariva Lair of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Dennis and Linda Cornwell, also of Quincy.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during the ceremony conducted by Monsignor Michael Kuse. Music was provided by Paula Webster, sister of the bridegroom, and Cathy Flick. Candlelighter was Nicholas Webster, nephew of the bridegroom.

Matron of honor was Beverly Stein, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaid was Ashley Kincaid, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Aaron Cornwell, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsman was Eric Bristow.

Ushers were Michael Lair, brother of the bride, and Brent Hibbard.

Flower girls were Victoria Webster and Eryn Cornwell, nieces of the bridegroom.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Aug. 21 in Sprout's Inn. A reception began at 6 p.m. in the Quincy Senior Center. On Aug. 23, a luncheon was held in the Quincy Boat Club, hosted by the bride's parents.

The bride is a 1994 graduate of Highland High School in Ewing, Mo., a 1996 graduate of the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa, and a 1998 graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. She is a corporate accountant at Quincy Newspapers Inc.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Unity High School in Mendon and a 1997 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He is an automotive technician at Shottenkirk Chevrolet.
