Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gaebel of Swansea, formerly of Quincy, have announced the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth, to Dr. Adam P. Overcast, son of Larry and Gaye Overcast of Humbolt, Tenn.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Liberty High School and a 2005 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville with a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. She is employed in the marketing department at Missouri Natural Gas Co.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Jackson (Tenn.) Christian High School. He completed undergraduate studies at Lambuth University in Jackson and is a 2007 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield. Dr. Overcast is the owner and chiropractor of Desired Health Chiropractic, LLC in Farmington, Mo.

A Nov. 7 wedding is planned in Memorial United Methodist Church in Farmington.
