Amanda Marie Dedert and Steven Wayne Spilker, both of 2357 N. 800th Ave., Liberty, have announced their engagement.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Guye and Tammy Dedert of Quincy. She attended Unity High School and John Wood Community College. Miss Dedert is employed by Blessing Hospital in Intermediate Care.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Gary and Donna Spilker of Quincy. He is employed by Konstant Products.

A Nov. 14 wedding is planned in Salem Evangelical United Church of Christ.
