Missy Schanz and Craig Carstens, both of 2619 Ridgecrest Drive, have announced their engagement.

Miss Schanz is a daughter of Anna Mae Hollensteiner of Quincy and the late John Hollensteiner. She attended Quincy High School and is employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Mr. Carstens is a son of the late Leroy and Mary Ann Carstens. He attended Central High School and is the owner of Insulation Systems.

The couple will be married Dec. 31 in the North Side Boat Club.
