Larry and Wanda Luker of 2032 N. Arrowood Court will mark their 50th wedding anniversary by hosting a dinner for family Nov. 7 in Sprout's Inn.

The couple were married Nov. 8, 1959, in the Christian church in Palmyra, Mo.

Mrs. Luker is the former Wanda Gillum, daughter of the late Roy and Joyce Gillum. Mr. Luker is a son of the late Charles and Leona Luker.

They are the parents of Pamela (Rich) Chandler of Fayetteville, N.C., and Randy (Stacy) Luker of Quincy. They have five grandchildren.

Mr. Luker is employed by Gully Transportation. He retired as an agent with Luker Insurance.

Mrs. Luker is a homemaker.

They are members of Vermont Street United Methodist Church.

The couple met when Wanda was a carhop at Quincy A.
