Bob and Patsy Lantz of Brooklyn will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Virginia at Scripps Park in Rushville. Their children will host the event. Family and friends are invited; they request no gifts, but cards are welcome.

Robert E. Lantz and the former Patricia Ann Hamilton were married Nov. 5, 1949, in Augusta Methodist Church.

They are the parents of Vicky Saka and her husband, Dr. Demir Saka, of Quincy, Dr. Patrick Lantz and his wife, Dr. Shelley Kreiter, of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Dona J. Lantz of Philadelphia. They have three grandsons.

Mr. Lantz was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service until his retirement in 1987.

They are members of Brooklyn Methodist Church.
