The Gardner Museum of Architecture and Design's Garden Tour will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 19.
The 2008 tour will feature six gardens in and around Quincy. This year's tour features a garden in Taylor and one in Palmyra.
Tour tickets are $8 the day of the tour and $6 in advance at the Gallery Across 4th Street, 129 S. Fourth, beginning July 1. They are also available for purchase at the Gardner Museum, 332 Maine.
This year's tour will feature two gardens created by members of the Mississippi Valley Garden Club, at 1921 Bramblewood in Quincy and 29073 Old Highway 61, just past Taylor, Mo. Club members will be on hand with information about their fellow members' gardens.
Another garden on the tour belongs to a museum member, 612 Ohio. Two midtown gardens are at 1301 State and 701 S. 17th. The tour includes a garden in Palmyra, Mo., professionally designed by landscape architect Mark H. Johnson.
