Mr. and Mrs. Justin Glenn Sievert honeymooned in Costa Rica after their marriage May 3 in Faith Presbyterian Church.

The bride is the former Laura Nicole Atterberg of Quincy, daughter of Tracy Atterberg of Quincy and the late Cheri Atterberg. The bridegroom, also of Quincy, is a son of Wayne and Pam Sievert of Lockport.

The bride was given in marriage by her father during the ceremony conducted by Kevin McGinnis. Music was provided by the Quincy Senior High School String Quartet and Choir with Kathleen Dooley. Also participating in the ceremony were Chris Atterberg and Kearn Kirkwood, readers; the bride's grandmothers, Betty Ward, who lit a memory candle, and Lee Ligeroit, both of Keokuk, Iowa; and the bridegroom's grandmother, Evelyn Anderson of Dyer, Ind.

Maid of honor was Brandi Atterberg, sister of the bride, and matron of honor was Kate Schumacher. Bridesmaid was Amanda Vail. Junior bridesmaid was Shae Atterberg, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Jeff Sievert, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Brian Opoka, Mike Wade, Doug Burdic and Chris Piette.

Ushers were Chris Atterberg, Tim Dirkes and Kearn Kirkwood.

Flower girl was Paige Schumacher and ring bearer was Chase Piette.

After the ceremony, the bridal couple held a dove-release ceremony in memory of her mother and other family members.

The bridal couple hosted a rehearsal dinner May 2 in the Busy Bistro. A reception was held in the State Room.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Quincy High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in 2004 from the University of Iowa. She is assistant manager of Starbucks Coffee Co.

The bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in 2004 from Quincy University. He is a history teacher at Quincy Senior High School.
