Miss Jami Jaleigh Baucom and Adam Lance Johnson, both of Normal, were united in marriage Dec. 22 in the Assembly of God Church in Camp Point.

The bride is a daughter of Bob and Mary Lynn Baucom of Camp Point. The bridegroom is a son of Byron and Kristal Johnson of Mount Sterling.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during the 2 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Ray Peters, grandfather of the bride. Music was provided by Sara and Jenae Lung, Raymond Rossmiller and Kari Miller. Candlelighters were Brecklyn Groce of Pensacola and Austen Stoddard of Swansea, both cousins of the bride, and Matthew Gillan of Towanda, cousin of the bridegroom.

Maid of honor was Taylor Baucom of Camp Point, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessalynn Baucom, sister of the bride, and Amanda Jackson, both of Camp Point; Amy Beth Dormire of Saint Charles, Mo.; and Elizabeth Yingling of Saint Louis.

Best man was Rodney Johnson of Champaign, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Zachary Baucom of Camp Point, brother of the bride; John King of Canton, Ill.; Denim Perry of Mount Sterling; and Todd Volk of Bloomington.

Ushers were Codey Leigh of Pensacola, Fla., cousin of the bride, and Jeff Sakata of Palatine.

Flower girls were Ava Schlueter of Quincy and Bela Groce of Pensacola, both cousins of the bride. Ring bearer was Samuel Ko of Oak Park, nephew of the bridegroom.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Dec. 21 at the Koch Homeplace in Mount Sterling. A holiday reception was hosted by the bride's parents from 6 to 11 p.m. in the Ambiance.

After honeymooning in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the newlyweds are at home in Normal.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Central High School and a 2005 graduate of Illinois State University, where she majored in finance and accounting. She is working toward a master of accountancy at ISU to be a certified public accountant. Mrs. Johnson is a fixed asset and overhead specialist at Growmark Inc. in Bloomington.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Brown County High School and a 2005 graduate of ISU, where he majored in insurance and finance. Mr. Johnson is working toward a CPCU insurance designation, and is an underwriter at State Farm Insurance Co. in Bloomington.

Bridal showers held in honor of the bridal couple were hosted by the bridesmaids, Helen Baucom, Debbie Baucom, Cathy Baucom, Mary Jane Aden and Kate Schlueter, Growmark coworkers, State Farm coworkers and Assembly of God Church. Rose Hanke, Tara Hanke, Linda Bastert and Elizabeth Likes hosted a bridal luncheon on the wedding day.
