Tower Isle St. Mary Parish at the Couples Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, was the setting for the Jan. 15 wedding of Janet Kay Stark and Stuart Alan Kaiser.

The bride, of 3014 Rutledge Place, is a daughter of Margie Augustin of 2206 Brookmeade Drive and the late Bill Augustin. The bridegroom, of 1025 N. 550th Ave., Quincy, is a son of the late Alice and Marion Kaiser.

The 1 p.m. ceremony was conducted by Horace Rose.

Matron of honor was Angela Dee Large of Tulsa, Okla.

Best man was Alan Dale Large of Tulsa.

A reception was held from 7 p.m. to midnight May 3 in Elks Lodge 100.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Ocho Rios.

The bride graduated from Quincy High School and Quincy Beauty Academy. She is a hair stylist at A Cut Above.

The bridegroom graduated from Seymour High School in Payson and Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He is co-owner and operator of Kaiser Farms.

The couple were honored with a Jamaican-style engagement party Aug. 25, 2007, hosted by Sue Krutmeier, Paul Maple, and Kathy and Todd Neisen, in the Krutmeier home.
