LEWISTOWN, Mo. -- A former Lewistown resident, Debbie Dance Uhrig, will be returning to the Tri-State area this week to sign her new cookbook "Simply Yours."

Uhrig is the daughter of Jerry and Betty Dance of Lewistown. She was a summer performer on the Golden Eagle Riverboat in Canton, Mo., from 1980-83 and taught vocal music for the Knox County School District.

Her column "The Covered Dish" appears in both Missouri and Kansas newspapers and she is also food editor for the County magazine.

She will be signing her book at five locations; "Simply Yours" lists for $16.95.
