The engagement of Ashley Renae Lightfoot and Matthew David Bockhold, both of Quincy, has been announced by their parents. She is a daughter of Chad and Rhonda Lightfoot of Ursa and Tom and Tina Powers of Bloomington. He is a son of Dave and Theresa Bockhold of Payson.

Miss Lightfoot graduated from Quincy High School in 2003 and from John Wood Community College in May.

Mr. Bockhold is a 2001 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson.

The couple will be married at 1 p.m. Oct. 25 in St. Francis Church.
