Richard and Elaine Fesler of 2040 Vermont have announced the engagement of their son, Talyn B. Fesler, to Jenni L. Glas, also of 2040 Vermont. She is a daughter of Jeff and Debby Glas of 1163 Burton Heights, Quincy, and Kimberly Shipman of Columbia, Mo.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson and is employed by Blessing Hospital.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School and is employed by Jim Stupavsky Construction.

The couple will be married Aug. 30 in St. Francis Church.
