The parents of Anna Marie Venvertloh and Edward Joseph Benz have announced the couple's engagement.

The bride-elect is a daughter of LeRoy and Mary Venvertloh of 4704 Ellington Road. She is a 2002 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2006 graduate of Quincy University, where she also earned a master of business administration degree this year. Miss Venvertloh is employed by Town and Country Bank.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Roger and Tawny Benz of 5308 S. 48th. He is a 2000 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School and a 2004 graduate of Western Illinois University. Mr. Benz is employed by Crop Production Services in Camp Point.

The couple will be married Aug. 8 in St. Anthony Catholic Church.
