Meredith Rash and J.D. Gravina have announced their engagement. They will be married at 6 p.m. June 28 in Quincy University Chapel.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Tim and Milly Rash of Shelbina, Mo. She is a 2005 graduate of South Shelby High School and graduated this year from the University of Missouri-Columbia with department honors in communication. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Lambda Pi Eta communication honors fraternity and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Miss Rash is an executive assistant at the Quincy Association of Realtors.
The prospective bridegroom, of Quincy, is a son of Jim Gravina of Liberty, Mo., and the late Mary Gravina. He graduated from Oak Park High School in Kansas City, Mo., and earned a bachelor's degree in 2000 from William Jewell College, a master's degree in economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a master's degree in health, physical education and recreation from Emporia State University. Mr. Gravina is head women's basketball coach at Quincy University.
