The engagement of Janice Ann Mock and David Donald Leo McCleary has been announced by their parents. She is a daughter of Norbert and Phyllis Mock of 7518 Columbus Road, Fowler. He is a son of Donald and Diana McCleary of 2338 N. 800th Ave., Liberty.

The bride-elect, of Springfield, is a 1989 graduate of Quincy High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1994 from Illinois State University and a master's degree in elementary education in 2001 from Western Illinois University. Miss Mock teaches high school business at Southeast High School in Springfield and will teach children's college this summer at John Wood Community College in Quincy.

The prospective bridegroom, of 2355 N. 700th Ave., Liberty, is a 1995 graduate of Liberty High School. He is a board member of the Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District, is employed by McCleary Farms and is part-owner of Triple D McCleary Trucking.

A July 19 wedding is planned in St. Brigid Catholic Church in Liberty.
