Mark and Becky Barlow of Clayton have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jessie Anita Barlow, to Jerod Michael LaCotta, son of Dean and Diane LaCotta Sr. of Price, Utah.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Central High School and a 2008 graduate of Western Illinois University. The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Carbon High School and a 2003 graduate of the College of Eastern Utah.

He is currently employed at Refreshment Services Pepsi of Macomb.

A June 7, 2008, wedding is planned at the country home of the bride's parents.
