Edward and Ella "Jean" Evans of 3911 Pine Ridge Drive will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner July 6 in Spring Lake Country Club.

The couple will also entertain family later that day in the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Merle and Mary Tieken, in Spring Lake Estates.

Mr. and Mrs. Evans were married July 3, 1948, in the rectory of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Chicago.

Mrs. Evans is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Tieken. Mr. Evans is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Evans.

Mr. Evans is a retired supervisor of Wells Gardner Electronics of Chicago and Mrs. Evans is a retired secretary of Commercial Cam Co., a division of Emerson Electric Co. of Wheeling.

They are members of St. Peter Catholic Church.
