Alvin and Mary Vaughn of LaGrange, Mo., are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in the Patio, hosted by their sons and daughters-in-law.

Mr. Vaughn and the former Mary Schroeder were married June 22, 1958, in LaGrange Baptist Church.

Mrs. Vaughn is a daughter of the late Virgil and Dorothy Schroeder. Mr. Vaughn is a son of the late Earl Vaughn and Myrtle Vaughn of the Lewis County Nursing Home.

They are the parents of James Vaughn and his wife, Martha, and David Vaughn and his wife, Gail, all of LaGrange, Michael Vaughn of Maywood, Mo., Gregory Vaughn and his wife, Chris, of Quincy and Jason Vaughn and his wife, Ashleigh, of California, Mo. They have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mr. Vaughn retired Jan. 1, 2003, from Quincy Compressor after 41 years of employment.

Mrs. Vaughn is a homemaker.
