Rich and Stephanie Demien and Jeff and Theresa Spear, all of Quincy, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversaries with a trip to Lake Louise, Canada. They also celebrated together with vacation trips for their 20th and 25th wedding anniversaries.

Mr. and Mrs. Demien were married May 27, 1978, in Higginsville, Mo. Mrs. Demien is a daughter of Bob and Mary Gray of Kaiser, Mo. Mr. Demien is a son of Lillian Demien of Jacksonville and the late Arlie Demien. They are the parents of Chris Demien of Quincy and Ryan Demien of Houston. Mr. Demien is the owner of Bayview Building Supply and Mrs. Demien is a teacher for the Quincy Public Schools.

Mr. and Mrs. Spear were married June 9, 1978, in Quincy. Mrs. Spear is a daughter of Dr. Francis and Jean Powers of Quincy. Mr. Spear is a son of George Spear of Quincy and the late Charlotte Spear. They are the parents of Will Spear of Quincy, Lt. Nick Spear and his wife, Sarah, of Little Rock, Ark., and Kristjan Makke and his wife, Getlyn, of Tallinn, Estonia. They have one grandson. Mr. and Mrs. Spear are the owners of the Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

Both couples are members of Luther Memorial Church.
