Kathy Blentlinger, 34, was found dead inside her 202 South Street residence Nov. 9 after an early morning fire. An investigator with the Illinois State Fire Marshals office told the coroner's jury Blentlinger's residence was burned down by arson, started by gasoline spilled on a rear porch area. Blentlinger died of smoke inhalation. The coroner's jury took only 10 minutes to reach a verdict. Members of the Blentlinger family were at the hearing.
