The couple will also entertain family later that day in the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Merle and Mary Tieken, in Spring Lake Estates. Mr. and Mrs. Evans were married July 3, 1948, in the rectory of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Chicago. Mrs. Evans is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Tieken.
