Mr. and Mrs. Eric J. Bracey are at home in Canton, Mo., after their marriage May 17 in First Baptist Church in Canton.

The bride is the former Michelle L. Sherwood of Canton, daughter of Jim and Nancy Miller of Kerrville, Texas. The bridegroom is a son of John and Phyllis Bracey of Canton.

The Rev. Brian Stone conducted the 11 a.m. ceremony.

Attending the bride were her children, Cody and Katelyn Sherwood.

The bridegroom was attended by his son, Derek Bracey.

A reception for family and friends was held at the home of the bridegroom's parents.

The newlyweds plan a wedding trip at a later date.

The bride is a graduate of Palmyra (Mo.) High School and a recent graduate of John Wood Community College with an associate's degree in nursing. She is employed by the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Canton High School and is a sales representative at Wood Mart Building Center in Quincy.
