Willingham - Whicker
After honeymooning in Kauai, Hawaii, Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Eric Willingham are at home at 418 Noel Court.
The couple, both of 418 Noel Court, exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. May 17 in St. Francis Catholic Church. The Rev. Tom Shaughnessy officiated.
The bride is the former Miss Jennifer Lynn Whicker, daughter of Richard and Laura Whicker of 521 S. 45th. The bridegroom is a son of Milton and Cynthia Willingham of 4711 Rosedale Court.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Melanie Morgan was harpist. Readers were Erin Slough and Judie Mehaffy.
Maid of honor was Katie Whicker of Quincy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Natalie Altgilbers of Rockford; Kristen Ritterbusch of LaGrange, Mo.; and Sarah Ishmael and the bridegroom's niece, Samantha Nelson, both of Quincy.
Best man was John Flaiz of Quincy. Groomsmen were Jason Deters, Eric Kasparie and the bridegroom's nephew, Tanner Cox, all of Quincy, and Ryan Viehmeyer of Camp Point.
Ushers were Ryan Whicker of Chicago, brother of the bride, and Dustin Long of Quincy, cousin of the bridegroom.
Flower girls were Taylor Hessling and Abbey Rhodes of Quincy. Ring bearer was Nathan Nelson of Quincy, nephew of the bridegroom.
The parents of the bridal couple hosted a rehearsal dinner May 16 in the Stoney Creek Inn. A reception began at 7 p.m. in the Oakley-Lindsay Center. On May 18, the bride's parents hosted a brunch in their home.
The bride earned a bachelor of science degree from Western Illinois University and is a graphic designer at Rokusek Design Inc.
The bridegroom earned an associate's degree from John Wood Community College and is a firefighter for the city of Hannibal, Mo.
