Sammartino - Frese

After honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Adam Sammartino are at home in Lombard.

Mr. Sammartino and the former Miss Kimberly Lynn Frese, both of Oak Park, exchanged wedding vows at 1 p.m. Sept. 8, 2007, in St. Francis Catholic Church. The Rev. Kurt Hartrich officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Rod and Jan Frese of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Thomas and Lana Sammartino of Glen Ellyn.

Mr. Frese gave his daughter in marriage. Music was provided by the Quincy String Ensemble. Readers were Corie Abernathy and Kelly Brannon, cousins of the bridegroom, and John McDowell.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Kern, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Maureen Hill, Julie May and Mackenzie Witherell.

Best man was Daniel Swibel. Groomsmen were Ryan Frese, brother of the bride, and Brian Munoz and Thad Peczkowski.

Ushers were Seth Coates and Mathew Tipton, cousins of the bridegroom.

Flower girls were Carlie Rost and Taylor Dietrich, cousins of the bride. Ring bearers were Jacob and Michael Kern, nephews of the bride.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the Pier Restaurant. A dinner reception began at 7 p.m. in the Ambiance, hosted by the bride's parents.

The bride graduated in 2003 from Western Illinois University with a bachelor of business degree in marketing management and a minor in Spanish. She participated in Delta Sigma Pi and was employed by the Western Courier while at WIU. Mrs. Sammartino is a regional sales manager at Scranton Gillette Communications in Arlington Heights.

The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Dominican University with a bachelor of science degree in computer science and computer information systems and a minor in business administration. He participated in baseball, cross country and TORCH. Mr. Sammartino is an area rental manager at Enterprise Leasing Co. of Chicago.
