Rebecca Jean Conkright and Tyler Michael Roskamp have announced their engagement. An Aug. 9 wedding is planned in Nebo.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Anita Howes of Quincy, Don Jansma of Hebron, Ind., and Dan Howes of Warsaw. She is a 2000 graduate of Warsaw High School and will graduate in 2010 from Culver-Stockton College, where she is a member and secretary of the Occupational Therapy Club and a member of the Psychology Club.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Mike and Gayle Roskamp of Sutter. He is a 2005 graduate of Western Illinois University and a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma Alumni. Mr. Roskamp is an agronomist at Key Agricultural Services Inc. in Macomb and is also a seed dealer for Golden Harvest.

The couple were the winners of the KHQA Win Your Wedding Contest.
