The parents of Anna Natalia Paul and Chad Michael Aden have announced the couple's engagement. She is a daughter of Wojtek and Maggie Paul of Clarendon Hills. He is a son of Nick and Nancy Aden Fotinakes of Quincy and the late Michael Aden.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School and a May 2006 graduate of Western Illinois University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and minors in microbiology and sociology. Miss Paul is pursuing a master's degree in counseling at Argosy University-Chicago.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Quincy Notre Dame High School and a May 2006 graduate of WIU, where he earned a bachelor's degree in law enforcement and justice administration with a minor in psychology. He was former president of the Kappa Lambda Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Mr. Aden is a manager for Target stores in Mundelein.

An Aug. 31 wedding is planned in Notre Dame Parish in Clarendon Hills.
