The engagement of Megan Marie McCaskill and Todd Lawrence Volk, both of Bloomington, has been announced by their parents. An Aug. 30 wedding is planned in the Church of the Holy Family in Mount Sterling.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Randy and Kris McCaskill of 1574 E. 3050th St., Clayton. She is a 2002 graduate of Brown County High School, a 2006 graduate of North Central College and served an internship with the Chicago Festival Committee planning the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. Miss McCaskill is a logistics division administrative assistant at Growmark Inc.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Lawrence and Jennifer Volk of Mount Sterling. He is a 2005 graduate of Western Illinois University, where he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Mr. Volk is a merchandiser with Southern Wine and Spirits in Champaign.
