The parents of Erin Anne Jurrens and Mitchell Anthony Sudkamp have announced the couple's engagement. A July wedding is planned in Quincy.

The bride-elect, of St. Louis, is a daughter of Richard and Joy Jurrens of 8813 State. She is a 2002 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of St. Louis University. Her memberships include Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International, Employment Law Association, Women Law Student Association, SLU Health Law Association and Student Association for Health Management. She received the SLU Master of Health Administration Ignation Scholarship. Miss Jurrens is a student pursuing a law degree and a master of healthcare administration degree.

The prospective bridegroom, also of St. Louis, is a son of Daniel and Jane Sudkamp of St. Louis. He is a 2002 graduate of Parkway North High School and a 2006 magna cum laude graduate of SLU, where he was a member of the Biology Honors Society and received the Baworowsky Award for undergraduate research excellence in systematic and evolutionary biology and the Dr. Judith Medoff Undergraduate Teaching Award from the Department of Biology. Mr. Sudkamp is a research associate at Monsanto.
