Duane and Janet Brammer of 48 Holiday Drive, Hannibal, Mo., have observed their 40th wedding anniversary.

They were married June 29, 1968, in Immanuel Baptist Church in Quincy.

Mrs. Brammer is the former Janet Rowe, daughter of Larry and Ann Rowe of Hannibal. Mr. Brammer is a son of Dalene Bergman of Kahoka, Mo., and the late Leon Brammer.

They are the parents of Brian and his wife, Lori, of Ellenton, Fla. They have two granddaughters.

Mr. Brammer retired in 1999 from banking after 27 years of service.

Mrs. Brammer is employed by Douglass Community Services and Goodhart Realty.
