Charles and Ruth Daniels of 1104 N. 20th have marked their 45th wedding anniversary.

They were married June 28, 1963, in Salem Evangelical Church.

Mrs. Daniels, the former Ruth Smallwood, is a daughter of Mary Sperry of Quincy. Mr. Daniels is a son of the late James W. and Claudia Daniels.

They are the parents of Sherri (John) Westfall of Pensacola, Fla., Robert Daniels and Rick Daniels of San Antonio, Texas. They have eight grandchildren.

Mr. Daniels retired in January from Sunset Home after seven years of employment and is now employed part time by O'Reilly Auto Parts. He enjoys building and flying remote-control airplanes and is a member of the R/C Air Command.

Mrs. Daniels is employed by Sunset Home and enjoys sewing and reading.
