Dale and Alice Peters of 908 Hillside Court celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a Mass in St. Francis Catholic Church and a family dinner hosted by their children.

Mr. and Mrs. Peters were married June 15, 1968, in Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ewing, Mo.

Mrs. Peters, the former Alice Schmitz, is a daughter of the late John and Stella Schmitz. Mr. Peters is a son of the late Carl and Ethel Peters.

They are the parents of Amy Wolff and her husband, Dan, of Ballwin, Mo., and Steven of Quincy.

Mr. Peters retired from Huck Fixture Co. in January after 44 years of employment.

Mrs. Peters was employed by Quincy Soybean Co. and later by Catholic Social Services.

They are members of St. Francis Catholic Church and Tri-State Lugnuts Car Club.
